GoPlay11 Ludo: The Two Games and How to Play Them Well
Short answer: GoPlay11 lists two Ludo games in its Casino lobby: Ludo, which carries a HOT label, and Ludo Win, labelled NEW. The die decides a single game. Over many games, the player who picks the right token to move finishes ahead. This page covers where the games are and how to make those choices.
Where Ludo is on GoPlay11
Open the Casino tab in the lobby and look for the two tiles among the casino titles. Each title sets its own tables. What a table costs, how many play, how long a turn lasts and what the winner gets are all shown inside the game. None of it was recorded for this guide. Before you roll once, open the game’s info or rules panel. The Bulletin piece on choosing a first Ludo table explains what to look for.
The rules in one minute
- Each player has four tokens that begin in a yard.
- In the classic game a six brings a token onto the track and earns another roll.
- Tokens travel round the board and finish along a home lane in their own colour.
- A token that lands on a rival sends it back to its yard, unless the rival stands on a safe square.
- A token needs the exact number to reach home.
Note: online tables often shorten the game with a clock or a score. The table’s own rules win over anything written here.
Playing well, phase by phase
Opening
- Spend early sixes on bringing tokens out. Two or three tokens in play give every later roll a useful move.
- Resist sprinting with the first token. A lone runner has to pass each rival’s entry square, with fresh tokens appearing right behind it.
Middle game
- Look backwards before every move. A rival token one to six squares behind can land on you with a single roll.
- Rest on safe squares while the board is crowded, and leave them once the danger has passed.
- Take a capture when it is offered, unless it leaves that token exposed to two rivals at once.
Endgame
- The home lane is safe, so the dangerous squares are the last few before it. Cross them in one move when you can.
- Keep a second token active. If your only token needs a three, five rolls in six are wasted.
- At a timed or points table, look at the score before a risky move. When you are ahead, the dull move is the right one.
How risky is that square?
One die gives each number a one-in-six chance. That turns “is this safe?” into arithmetic.
| A rival token is… | Chance it lands on you next turn | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 1 to 6 squares behind | About 17%, or 1 in 6 | One exact roll does it |
| 7 to 12 squares behind | About 3%, or 1 in 36 | A six first, then precisely the right second roll |
| More than 12 squares behind | Under 1% | It needs two sixes in a row first |
| Two rivals, each within 6 squares | About 31% | Two separate rolls, either of which can hit |
The figures assume one die and an extra roll for a six. A rival may also prefer a different move, so the real risk is a little lower. The habit matters more than the decimals: seven squares clear is far safer than six.
Money and time
- Pick an entry small enough that several losses in a row do not bother you.
- Decide how many games you will play before the first one starts.
- Ludo for money is for adults and is entertainment. The responsible gaming page has limits that work.
Ludo at Drem
Drem’s Casino lobby has both games too, Ludo and Ludo Win, so everything on this page applies there unchanged. If crash games interest you as well, the GoPlay11 Aviator guide explains how a round works.
The two Ludo titles were seen in both lobbies on 13 October 2026. Ludo rules here are the general rules of the game; the table you join may vary them.
